A meeting of Pakistan Diploma Engineers Federation Faisalabad is held on 09.02.2023 under the leadership of President Pakistan Diploma Engineers Federation Faisalabad Zone Faisalabad Mr. Nasir Mahmood Wahla sb.
In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the issues of organization in the whole of Punjab, apart from this a detailed discussion was held on the problems faced by the sub-engineers which are as follows.
1. Election schedule should be released immediately in all zones in Punjab and the majority should be recognized and shut-up calls should be given to the vested interests and such elements should be held accountable.
2. The Union should use its efforts to formulate a comprehensive plan to deal with the problems facing all sub engineers today.
3. It has become impossible for sub-engineers to run the section in this era of inflation. Technical allowance, petrol and service structure should be solved immediately with joint efforts.
4. A black law like PMIU which is made only for sub-engineers should be abolished but this wing itself should be abolished.
5. Aggressive tactics is reiterated on daily assaults by engineers on the allotted quota of sub-engineers.
6. Work should be started to appoint CSP officers in place of Chief Engineers in all zones of Punjab. The post of Chief Engineers is an administrative post not a technical one.
7. In the end, full confidence is expressed in the leadership of President Pakistan Diploma Engineers Federation Faisalabad Zone Faisalabad Mr. Nasir Mahmood Wahla Sahib and in the next election also Nasir Mahmood Wahla Sahib will be nominated as the President of Faisalabad Irrigation Zone.
8.Protest is made on the cruelty done by the Department on the sub-engineers of Bahawalpur zone and the future strategy is considered in this regard.
